Assistant Professor Mark Magnusson is in private practice and has been working as a Plastic Surgeon in Toowoomba, Queensland, since 2001. He has a special interest in the interactions between surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation modalities, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, body contouring, facial skin cancer and microvascular head and neck reconstruction.
A/Prof Mark Magnusson has been the Chairman of Education for the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery since 2012. In this role he convenes scientific meetings run by the Society including Non-Surgical Symposia and Aesthetic Surgical Meetings. In addition to his role on the MAFAC Faculty A/Prof Magnusson also runs Facial Anatomy Injecting and Cadaver Dissection Workshops for plastic surgeons, cosmetic doctors and nurses concentrating on anatomy relevant to non-surgical rejuvenation methods and aging.
A/Prof Mark Magnusson is also the current President of the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
