Course #S1 Composite Facelifts Simplified through Modern Understanding of Deep Plane (spaces and ligaments) Anatomy – A Cadaver Workshop.
Space is limited to 52 delegates.
Start time: 7.30am
This is a compacted version of the renowned, two-day Melbourne Advanced Facial Anatomy Course designed for surgeons wanting to learn how to safely incorporate the latest advances in understanding of facial anatomy into their surgical practice.
The course is tightly structured as a guided, hands on, dissection program, with only 2 participants assigned to each cadaver head and an experienced dissection tutor from the Melbourne Course for each 4 participants.
The attendees readily learn to dissect within the ‘safety’ of the sub SMAS facial spaces, and then define the boundaries where the facial ligaments are located. Surgeons rapidly gain confidence from learning how predictably the facial nerve branches can be located intraoperatively using this anatomical approach.
This is a surgical course of facial dissection, in which correct surgical technique is demonstrated and only quality plastic surgery instruments are used.
