“I participated in the MAFAC 2012 and there gained an invaluable experience. It was extremely helpful to understand the surgical anatomy, such as the facial spaces, nerve branches, and retaining ligaments, especially the zygomatic and upper masseteric key ligaments. Also, I could identify the anatomy around the mandibular ligaments and submandibular gland which I had been very interested in. I feel myself to have developed and am now able to perform facial rejuvenation surgery more confidently.

I decided to introduce this amazing experience to my colleagues and then wrote the essay about MAFAC 2012 in the ‘Newsletter of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons’.”
