It is not an exaggeration to say that the upcoming Advanced MAFAC held in Melbourne 17th and 18th October 2017 will be a World first for an anatomy course. It is specifically designated as an Advanced Course because of the precondition that attendees for this Course must have previously participated in a MAFAC Course.
This Course is not designed to cater for a basic level of anatomy, but to take the understanding to the next level. All of the attendees will be attending the Course for a second and several for a third time, looking for a higher level of learning, beyond their experience from previous Courses and its’ application into their surgery.
The Course will feature two Internationally renowned plastic surgery anatomy teachers, Dr Giovanni Botti from Salo, Italy and Dr Daniel Labbé from Caen, France. The level of Faculty participation involvement will be as high as in all Courses.
Clinical application of the anatomy in aesthetic facial surgery is the focus of this Course. Accordingly, the international invited Faculty will perform demonstration surgery of their procedures. In addition, all participants will have the opportunity of practicing the placement of subperiosteal hydroxyapatite for skeletal augmentation at the several sites where it is most commonly used.
You can see why this will be a landmark event. It is a one-off, as it is not planned to have an Advanced Course every year. For this reason we recommend to those who have registered an interest that they confirm their registration promptly as already the number of ‘expressions’ of interest well exceeds the limited number of remaining places available. Reserve your place now.
